- playing my Lowden acoustic. For solo performances I usually play my Godin nylon string through very nice sounding battery-powered amplifiers (I can set up ANYWHERE!). The goal is to get the most beautiful, natural sound with just enough volume to be heard clearly, but not obtrusively, at your event.
